This 10" high replica of Jeanne Rynhart's Ellis Island sculpture celebrates Annie Moore, the very first immigrant to be processed there on January 1, 1892. The 15 year-old immigrant had departed from Cobh, Co.Cork on December 20, 1891 and arrived on Ellis Island on the day of her 15th birthday.

Jeanne Rynhart is best known for her statue of Molly Malone in Dublin's Grafton Street, her sculptures of Annie Moore in Cobh and Ellis Island as well as numerous other publicly-commissioned works. After an absence of several years from the market, we can now offer these faithful reproductions of the artist's works all handmade in County Cork.
